Daily Zohar 4993

202. מַה שֶּׁנֶּאֱמַר לְאַבְרָהָם, מָה הַטַּעַם עָשׂוּ? הָיָה צָרִיךְ לִכְתֹּב עָשָׂה. מַה זֶּה עָשׂוּ? [אֶלָּא] זֶה אַבְרָהָם וּשְׁכִינָה שֶׁלֹּא זָזָה מִמֶּנּוּ. [דָּבָר אַחֵר] עָשׂוּ – מַה שֶּׁנֶּאֱמַר לַמַּלְאָכִים, מִשּׁוּם שֶׁהָיוּ מְזֻמָּנִים לְשָׁם, וְהָיוּ נִמְצָאִים לַעֲשׂוֹת דִּין, וְעַל זֶה עָשׂוּ.

He asks: To whom did the Holy One, blessed be He, say: “עָשׂוּ כָּלָה” “They made end” (referring to the people of Sodom)? For the Zohar interprets the verse as if it were written: עֲשׂוּ כָּלָה—”Make an end” (Genesis 19:13), with a patah under the עֲ (Ayin), which is a command. If you say that He said to those angels: “Make an end,” who has seen such a thing, that He speaks with this one, with Abraham, and commands that one, the angels? And he says: Rather, He said to Abraham: “Make an end,” for those places were standing under his authority. Another interpretation: That He said to those angels: “Make an end.”
Notes:
The command “make an end” (עֲשׂוּ כָּלָה) is debated: to Abraham, whose authority over Sodom failed due to no merit, or to the angels, who finalize judgment.

He asks: What we said —that He said to Abraham “make an end” — what is the reason it is written עֲשׂוּ (make, plural)? It should have been written עֲשֵׂה (make, singular). Why did He say עֲשׂוּ? And he says: This He said to Abraham and to the Shekhinah, who did not depart from him, and therefore He said עֲשׂוּ (plural).
He asks: What we said —that to the angels He said “make an end” — we need to resolve the earlier difficulty: Who has seen such a thing, to speak with this one and command another? And he answers: It is because the angels were standing there and were present there to execute judgment, and therefore He said to them עֲשׂוּ (Make).
Notes:
The plural “make an end” (עֲשׂוּ) is to Abraham with the Shekhinah or to angels for judgment, resolving the command’s address in Sodom’s destruction.
