“The LORD said, “What have you done? Listen! Your brother’s blood cries out to me from the ground.”
When God said the words above to Cain he told him about the damage that his act caused on the whole Tikkun process.
Rabbi Shimon reveals that “Your brother’s blood” is the blood of the Israelites that the Erev Rav, like Cain, would steal from them.
Genesis 6:13
“And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth..”
The Zohar quotes explanation by Rabbi Yonatan Ben Uziel and says that “the end of all flesh” is the angel of death and all the negativity that will harm the Israelites at the end of Tikkun.
Because Cain carried the seed of death from the Snake inside of him, God didn’t accept his offering, meaning there was no connection to draw light.
Abel came from a pure seed and God saw his righteous future so he allowed Abel to connect with him.
Blood is the aspect of the soul level of Nefesh that sustains life in the body. When the blood stops circulating in the body, the soul, which is the life force, can not stay and it leaves the body. As we are getting to the end of the Tikkun, the Erev Rav attacks our soul with doubts that stop our connection to the universal life force (Tree of Life) that feeds our individual souls. The tests will grow stronger as we come closer to the greater light. Just don’t stop. Keep your connection and move forward.
