Zohar Vaetchanan

Deuteronomy 4:4
“וְאַתֶּם, הַדְּבֵקִים, בַּיהוָה, אֱלֹהֵיכֶם–חַיִּים כֻּלְּכֶם, הַיּוֹם.”
“But you who held fast to YHVH your God are alive today, every one of you.”

The Zohar explains that the Holy One Blessed be He chose to bless the children of Israel from all the other nations. God’s blessing is his name יהוה YHVH. Those who hold to the name, meaning following the ways of the Torah and the Tree of Life, benefit from the energy of life that will keep them alive at the time of the Final Redemption.
The word ’הַיּוֹם’, ‘today/the day’ is a code word related to the day at the Final Redemption when negativity no longer exists, the world is in complete peace and the Light of the Tree of Life is in full presence.

Psalms 118:24
“זֶה-הַיּוֹם, עָשָׂה יְהוָה; נָגִילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָה בוֹ.”
“This is the day (הַיּוֹם) that YHVH has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
This verse from Psalms is used in the ‘Halel’ (a special prayer that we add on Rosh Chodesh and Holidays). When we arrive to it we sing it with great joy.

The Israelites receive their sustenance from YHVH directly and the other nations of the world receive it through 70 ministers that govern them.
