Rabbi Yehuda says when a person’s feet are captured, and his days draw near, that day is called the day of Hashem to bring back the soul (Ruach) to its source. We have learned, at that time, the Holy Crown visits the spirit of man. Who is he? It is written;
Psalm 90:10
“יְמֵי שְׁנוֹתֵינוּ בָהֶם שִׁבְעִים שָׁנָה וְאִם בִּגְבוּרֹת שְׁמוֹנִים שָׁנָה וְרָהְבָּם עָמָל וָאָוֶן כִּי גָז חִישׁ וַנָּעֻפָה.”
“The days of our lives are seventy years; And if by strength (Gevurah) they are eighty years, and the rest of them is only labor and sorrow; For it is soon cut off, and we fly away.”
The seventh crown is the Nukva that ends all the sefirot.

Lesson;
The feet have the aspect of Malchut that is ‘end’ and a sefira that doesn’t have the light of its own. When Rabbi Yehuda refers to the feet of a person captured, it means that a person is about to die.
Feet and shoes in a dream represent Malchut.
If one sees himself wearing new shoes, it means improvement in Malchut; good things are coming, like profits and success.
Wearing old shoes in a dream means negative aspects of connection to Malchut, loss, and challenges.
Walking without shoes in a dream means a time of pain and sorrow. Correct interpretations of dreams are strongly connected to the rest of the elements in the dream, so we should never interpret people’s dreams, especially when we think it’s negative. I bring this explanation only to teach the spiritual aspects, not as a dream interpretation dictionary.

Eighty years of life if from the side of Gevurah, Left. Binah is the eighth, above the seven sefirot of Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, Yessod, and Malchut. Binah is the ‘crown’ of the Left side. Above the eighth, there is no space for the continuation of life, as it says, “It is only labor and sorrow.”
A person’s soul comes from Zeir Anpin, and each of the seven Sefirot has the individual sefirot to make seventy. The first ten years are from Chessed, until the last one, Malchut, where there is no light source to receive life. At that level, a person dies. If the root of the soul is from Binah, then life is eighty years.

Lesson;
Seventy years is the length of time a soul is given for its Tikun. If a person finishes his life’s correction process within 70 years or 80 years (if the soul is from Binah), then it is considered as if a person had a complete life.
Living longer means that the soul has more work to correct itself, or it stays in this world to support others and get additional merits, or other people need this person for their own tikun. For example, if Ruben hurts Shimon and he finishes his work and needs to leave the world, he may stay longer to give Ruben time to correct any open issues with Shimon. For that reason, we want to forgive anyone that hurt us so we won’t have to stay in this world long after we finished our tikun or come back to a new process just to give a Ruben new opportunity to correct. This situation mostly happens within the close family. If an old parent is sick for a long time, then it could be that he is waiting for us to make it easy for him, even if it is difficult for us. Our tikun process depends on it.

When the Holy One Blessed be He wants to bring the soul of a person back to its place, then if the soul of a person is righteous, he draws the Ruach of the soul to him, as it is written;
Ecclesiastes 12:7
“וְיָשֹׁב הֶעָפָר עַל הָאָרֶץ כְּשֶׁהָיָה וְהָרוּחַ תָּשׁוּב אֶל הָאֱלֹהִים אֲשֶׁר נְתָנָהּ.”
“Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, And the spirit (Ruach) will return to God who gave it.”

Lesson;
The three levels of the soul Nefesh, Ruach, and Neshama, are treated differently after death. The soul level of Nefesh is lower and may have a different process after death than the soul level of Ruach. The level of Ruach can go higher and quicker than the soul level of Nefesh. Only great Tzadikim get the additional level of Neshamah, which means that they reached a complete soul correction. They go to a higher level in the heavens, even without a cleansing process that most souls need to go through before entering the gates of the heavens.
