Zohar Yitro

#197
This is a joyful man. Wise. Clever. Generous with his money. In everything he strives to know, he is wise. For a moment, he gets angry, and for a moment, his anger subsides. He never holds hatred forever. Sometimes he is good, and sometimes not so much, but he is found in balance — that is, not too good and not too bad. When he repents to his Master, his Master holds him by the hand, and he rises to great honor. Everyone needs him. The letter ס always goes with him more than the letter ץ. All those who council to go against him do not succeed, and their plan does not endure, and they cannot harm him. He appears to be a deceiver, but he is not. The letter ס and the letter ץ wrestle over him, and therefore sometimes he rises, and sometimes he falls. When he returns to his Master, the letter ס prevails, and his desire is fulfilled in everything. He is compassionate, and he weeps when he is filled with compassion.
Notes:
This Zohar describes a person with a balanced, joyful, and wise nature. He is generous, quick to anger but quick to calm, never holding lasting hatred, and lives in a middle path — neither extremely good nor evil. Upon repentance, he is elevated greatly, needed by all. The letters ס (Samech, support) and ץ (final Tzaddik, righteousness/end) compete over him, with ס prevailing after teshuvah, fulfilling his desires. His compassion brings tears.
#198
He has one mark on his right arm, and the face stands and has no hairs at all. And if the hairs are curled and do not hang under his ears, and they stand curled above his ears. This one stands in his speech.
Notes:
A mark on the right arm, hairless face, and curled hairs above the ears mark one who stands firm and true in his speech.
