Daily Zohar # 5279 – Lech Lacha – He, holds the key of their union
Daily Zohar 5279

Zohar Lech Lacha
Continued from previous DZ
#206
And then the female includes everything. For she takes the two souls, and is impregnated from the male by them. The yearning of the two clings, and they become one. And therefore everything is included one in the other. And when the souls go out, male and female are included in them as one.
Notes:
The female takes the two souls and is impregnated by the male. Their yearning joins them as one, so that when the souls go out, male and female are included together.
#207
Once they descend to the world, they are separated one from the other, the male from the female. This one turns to his side, and that one turns to her side. Then the Holy One, blessed be He, joins them. The key of the union is given not to another, but to the Holy One, blessed be He, alone. For only He knows their union, to join them as is fitting. That is, that they will be male and female from one soul.
Notes:
When the souls descend, they are separated, male and female. Only the Holy One, blessed be He, holds the key of their union, to join them again as male and female from one soul.
#208
Happy is the man who merits by his deeds and walks in the way of truth, so that soul will be joined to soul for him, male with female, as they were before they descended to the world. But if he does not merit, his match will not be given to him. And therefore it is written of him, “וּפִרְיוֹ מָתוֹק לְחִכִּי” “and his fruit is sweet to my palate” (Song of Songs 2:3). For this man is blessed with the correction of male and female as is fitting, so that the world will be blessed from him with sweet fruits, that is, fitting offspring, because everything depends on the deeds of the person, whether he merited or not.
Notes:
One who merits by his deeds is joined again to his soul-mate, male and female as they were above. If he does not merit, the match is not given. The verse of the sweet fruit speaks of the fitting offspring that come from a corrected union.
