26. עוֹד, הִשְׁגִּיחַ וְשָׁקַל וְצֵרַף לַעֲמֹד עַל בֵּרוּר הַדָּבָר שֶׁל אוֹתוֹ הַמָּקוֹם וְלֹא הָיָה יוֹדֵעַ, וְלֹא יָכֹל לַעֲמֹד עָלֶיהָ לְהַשִּׂיג. כֵּיוָן שֶׁרָאָה אֶת כֹּחוֹ שֶׁל הַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה וְלֹא יָכֹל לַעֲמֹד עָלָיו, מִיָּד וַיָּבֹאוּ עַד חָרָן וַיֵּשְׁבוּ שָׁם.
27. מָה הַטַּעַם שֶׁל אַבְרָהָם? אֶלָּא שֶׁהוּא הָיָה יוֹדֵעַ וּמְצָרֵף אֶת כָּל אוֹתָם הַשַּׁלִּיטִים מַנְהִיגֵי הָעוֹלָם בְּכָל צִדְדֵי הַיִּשּׁוּב, וְהָיָה שׁוֹקֵל וּמְצָרֵף אוֹתָם הַשּׁוֹלְטִים בִּצִדְדֵי הַיִּשּׁוּב מַנְהִיגֵי הַכּוֹכָבִים וְהַמַּזָּלוֹת שֶׁלָּהֶם מִי הֵם הַחֲזָקִים אֵלּוּ עַל אֵלּוּ. וְהָיָה שׁוֹקֵל אֶת כָּל יִשּׁוּבֵי הָעוֹלָם [וְלֹא] וְהָיָה עוֹלֶה בְיָדוֹ. כְּשֶׁהִגִּיעַ לַמָּקוֹם הַזֶּה רָאָה אֶת חֹזֶק הָעֳמָקִים וְלֹא יָכֹל לַעֲמֹד בּוֹ.
28. כֵּיוָן שֶׁרָאָה הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא אֶת הִתְעוֹרְרוּתוֹ וּתְשׁוּקָתוֹ, מִיָּד הִתְגַּלָּה עָלָיו וְאָמַר לוֹ לֶךְ לְךָ, לָדַעַת אוֹתְךָ וּלְתַקֵּן עַצְמְךָ.

Genesis 11:31
“ וַיֵּצְאוּ אִתָּם מֵאוּר כַּשְׂדִּים, לָלֶכֶת אַרְצָה כְּנַעַן, וַיָּבֹאוּ עַד-חָרָן, וַיֵּשְׁבוּ שָׁם”
“and they went forth together from Ur of the Chaldeans to go into the land of Canaan, but when they came to Haran, they settled there.”

Abraham knew how to read the stars, avoid negativity, and follow the best path. When he came to Haran, a place that its name means ‘anger’, Abraham experienced greater judgment and his abilities to read the stars were blocked. He couldn’t see clearly the path he needed to take.

God opened for Abraham a window to Chokmah through which (as we studied in DZ 1949) he can see the stars, which is the aspect of the upper three Sefirot of Binah and the 12 constellations, which is the aspect of the lower seven sefirot.
