Zohar Tzav
#65
The wise Torah scholars are considered as the children of the King and Queen. Their Nefesh if from Malchut of Atziluth and their Ruach is from Zeir Anpin of Atziluth. They are the aspect of Shabbat and holidays and they are rewarded in this world and the world to come. Like the special days they are treated with honor.
#66
Those who dishonor the Torah scholars are like desecrating Shabbats and holidays and need correction.
Lesson:
Torah scholars are channels of light and by honoring them we connect to the light of their studies. They can help us with advice and blessings that are based on the Torah and their studies. If one disgrace or shame them he disconnected himself from the Torah.
Rabbi Shimon was called ‘Shabbat’ and ‘Sinai’ because of the light he brought to those who studied from him.
