77. וְכֻלָּם לֹא נָטְלוּ תֹקֶף אֶלָּא בִּגְלַל יִשְׂרָאֵל. שֶׁכְּשֶׁיִּשְׂרָאֵל בַּגָּלוּת שֶׁלָּהֶם, מִיָּד מִתְחַזְּקִים עַל כָּל שְׁאָר הָעַמִּים שֶׁבָּעוֹלָם, מָה הַטַּעַם? מִשּׁוּם שֶׁיִּשְׂרָאֵל הֵם לְבַדָּם כְּנֶגֶד כָּל עַמֵּי הָעוֹלָם. כְּשֶׁנִּכְנְסוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל לְגָלוּת מִצְרַיִם, מִיָּד הָיְתָה קִימָה לְמִצְרַיִם, וְהִתְחַזֵּק שִׁלְטוֹנָם מֵעַל כָּל שְׁאָר הָעַמִּים, שֶׁכָּתוּב וַיָּקָם מֶלֶךְ חָדָשׁ עַל מִצְרָיִם. וַיָּקָם – קִימָה הָיְתָה לָהֶם, שֶׁהִתְחַזֵּק וְקָם אוֹתוֹ מְמֻנֶּה הַשִּׁלְטוֹן שֶׁל מִצְרֻיִם, וְנִתְּנוּ לוֹ תֹּקֶף וְשִׁלְטוֹן עַל כָּל מְמֻנֵּי שְׁאָר הָעַמִּים, שֶׁהֲרֵי בָּרִאשׁוֹנָה יֵשׁ שִׁלְטוֹן לְאוֹתוֹ הַמְמֻנֶּה שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה, וְאַחַר כָּךְ לָעָם שֶׁלּוֹ שֶׁלְּמַטָּה. וּמִשּׁוּם כָּךְ וַיָּקָם מֶלֶךְ חָדָשׁ עַל מִצְרַיִם. זֶהוּ הַמְמֻנֶּה שֶׁלָּהֶם, חָדָשׁ הָיָה, שֶׁעַד הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה לֹא הָיָה לוֹ שִׁלְטוֹן עַל שְׁאָר הָעַמִּים, וְעַכְשָׁו הוּקַם לִשְׁלֹט עַל כָּל שְׁאָר עַמֵּי הָעוֹלָם, וְאָז הִתְקַיֵּם (משלי ל) תַּחַת שָׁלוֹשׁ רָגְזָה אֶרֶץ, תַּחַת עֶבֶד כִּי יִמְלוֹךְ.

Zohar Shemot

Exodus 1:8
“וַיָּקָם מֶלֶךְ חָדָשׁ עַל מִצְרָיִם אֲשֶׁר לֹא יָדַע אֶת יוֹסֵף.”
“Now there arose a new king over Egypt, who did not know Joseph.”

The ‘new king arose’ is the rise of the minister of the nation of Egypt that received new energy from the Israelites that populated Egypt. Because of the Israelites he could govern the other nations of the world. It tells us that Israel alone have the power over all the other nations.
The minister of a nation receives his governance in the spiritual levels, then govern over his nation below. That is why it says ‘A new king arose over Egypt’
The new minister of Egypt didn’t have governance over the other nations of the world before. When he received this control, he has the aspect of ‘A slave that becomes a king’ that we read in the following verses.
Proverbs 30:21
“תַּחַת שָׁלוֹשׁ רָגְזָה אֶרֶץ וְתַחַת אַרְבַּע לֹא תוּכַל שְׂאֵת.”
“תַּחַת עֶבֶד כִּי יִמְלוֹךְ וְנָבָל כִּי יִשְׂבַּע לָחֶם.”
“Under three things the earth quakes, And under four, it cannot bear up:”
“Under a slave when he becomes king, And a fool when he is satisfied with food,”

Lesson;
Exodus 14:30
“וַיּוֹשַׁע יְהוָה בַּיּוֹם הַהוּא אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל מִיַּד מִצְרָיִם וַיַּרְא יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת מִצְרַיִם מֵת עַל שְׂפַת הַיָּם.”
“Thus YHVH saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egypt, and Israel saw Egypt dead on the seashore.”
After the Israelites crossed the sea and the water drowned the Egyptians, the Torah tells us that the Israelites saw Egypt dead on the seashore. The verse says ‘Egypt’ and not ‘Egyptians’ as most translations do. Also, the word ‘dead’ is in singular form. It tells us that the Israelites saw the minister of Egypt dead. The seashore is the aspect of the border between the spiritual levels and Malchut. Because the minister of Egypt was not a holy angel, they could see him dead on the seashore.
When the Israelites left, Egypt experienced the drainage of energy and regretted the early decision (Exodus 30:5).
Pharaoh that represented the supernal minister of Egypt chose to chase the Israelites and bring them back, but it was too late because God was with the Israelites and no minister can come against them when they are with God.
