Daily Zohar # 3357 – Naso – In a multitude of people is a king’s honor

Zohar Naso
#106
God created us as a complete form in one act with all body parts before giving him the soul and force of Life.
Genesis 2:7 “and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living being”
For that reason, ten men should come together as one to form a Minyan for prayers. If they come in drips, it delays the Shechina from joining them and activates the connection. Those who come early to be among the first ten, benefit greatly.
#107
After all body parts come together in one place, the vessel is formed and ready for the Light. The first ten men represent the ten sefirot of the vessel in Malchut. The people that join after them, add honor to the minyan and the connection.
Proverbs 14:28
“In a multitude of people is a king’s honor, But in the lack of people is the downfall of a prince.”
Lesson;
Having a Minyan of Ten men is important to have the Shechina support the prayers. It is also as important to have ten focused people to elevate the prayers. Talking to each other during the prayers, even if it is related to Torah studies, creates interruptions that weaken the vessel and break the connection.
Women are not counted in a minyan because they represent the vessel, and men are channels.
Women can come to the synagogue and by their presence, they can tap to the channel of Light that men create to elevate their personal prayers.
The righteous would meditate for an hour before they start their prayers, even in a minyan. They did so to get into a proper consciousness and create a strong vessel for the Light they are about to receive.
The lesson is that there are different levels of connection and we should always make our best when praying alone or in a minyan.
