Daily Zohar – Tikunim – #354 – Fly high with six wings
Tikkun 21 – 95
Four wings to the chariots, Lion, Bull, Eagle and Man, each of them connect to the letters of the name YHVH.
“Above Him stood the seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly.”
The Zohar refers to the six wings as the letters אבגיתץ. The chariots are the supernal levels expressed with the letters of the Tetragramaton YHVH in different combination.
The steps in the connection are described with the actions of the wings. With two wings he covers his face to disconnect from the impure side, with two he covers his legs to disconnect from negative actions and with two he will fly to go out of exile.
“…I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto Myself.”
In the Song of Moses Deuteronomy 32:11
“As an eagle that stirreth up her nest, hovereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her pinions”
Wings of the eagle are the aspect of the central column that connect the right and left columns. We achieve that connection with the sounds of the Shofar Tekiah, Shevarim and Teruah.
