Daily Zohar – Tikunim – #367 – Don’t wreck your ship
Tikkun 21 – 108
Song of Songs 5:15 “שׁוֹקָיו עַמּוּדֵי שֵׁשׁ, מְיֻסָּדִים עַל-אַדְנֵי-פָז”
“His legs are as pillars of marble (meaning 6 in Hebrew), set upon sockets of fine gold”
“And the spirit of YHVH shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom (1) and understanding (2), the spirit of counsel (3) and might(4), the spirit of knowledge (5) and of the fear of YHVH(6).”
The light comes to the heart through the lungs. The two main chambers of the heart are the candles of the soul. Candle in Hebrew is נר. The two letters are for נפש and רוח, which are the soul levels of Nefesh and Ruach.
The light brings the life force into the body and animates it. This light is represented by the letter Vav ו with numerical value of 6. It moves the 6 joints of the two hands and the 6 joints of the legs.
Ezekiel 1:12 “אֶל אֲשֶׁר יִהְיֶה-שָּׁמָּה הָרוּחַ לָלֶכֶת יֵלֵכוּ, לֹא יִסַּבּוּ בְּלֶכְתָּן”
“Wherever the spirit (Ruach) was going, they went; they do not turn when they walk.”
All parts of the body follow this light. The spirit, which is the Ruach of the soul, guides us traveling in many directions. Ruach means “wind” in Hebrew and like the wind pushes the ship on the water, that is how we move in life. The ship in whole is the aspect of the mind, heart and body that navigate the ship.
When we are connected to the Ruach, we have easy sail in life but if we go against it we experience hardship and situations that can break our vessel.
In the previous Daily Zohar we explained the story of Jonah. When he tried to run away from his job in life avoiding the guidance of the light, the ship that carried him almost broke. (Jonah 1:4)
