Tikkun 69 – 99

The Snake seduced Eve connecting her with his seeds that were from the other side. This was the ‘forbidden fruit’ that Eve should’ve avoided because the result was the contamination of Cain’s soul.

After the sin, Adam disconnected himself from Eve. He spilled his seeds without Eve’s vessel for a period of 130 years. During that time he connected to and transferred his seeds to a female entity of the other side (Lili-th). From that forbidden relationship came out the souls of the Erev Rav. They were a mixed of Good that was the aspect of the divine part of Adam and Bad that was the aspect of the impure vessel of the other side.

The Erev Rav can not have certainty with the Light and their doubts in Moses caused the sin of the Golden Calf that created another deep disconnection between the Israelites and God.

Genesis 4:5
“וְאֶל-קַיִן וְאֶל-מִנְחָתוֹ, לֹא שָׁעָה; וַיִּחַר לְקַיִן מְאֹד, וַיִּפְּלוּ פָּנָיו”
“but unto Cain and to his offering He had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.”

The Zohar brings the point that God is merciful as it said in Psalms 145:9
“טוֹב-יְהוָה לַכֹּל; וְרַחֲמָיו, עַל-כָּל-מַעֲשָׂיו. ”
YHVH is good to all; and His tender mercies are over all His works. ”
and also it is said in Ezekiel 18:32
“כִּי לֹא אֶחְפֹּץ בְּמוֹת הַמֵּת, נְאֻם אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה: ”
“For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith YHVH GOD;”

so why didn’t God accept Cain’s offerings?

The Zohar answers that, the reason is that Cain planned to make a connection to YHVH in order to draw Light for negative purposes.

On the other hand Abel was pure in his consciousness and had the desire to draw light for the Shechinah in Malchut and that made God pleased with his offerings.

The lesson that the Zohar gives us here is that, our consciousness is a vessel which carries our prayers and the desire to receive the light of the Creator. If we don’t have a pure and unselfish consciousness, then our desires are ignored and the empty vessel turns negative on us.

Having fulfillment of our desires from the other side brings negative outcome and chaos.
