Zohar Emor
Continued from previous DZ

#221
During the days between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, Jacob flees Esau to be saved from him. He repents and fasts until Yom Kippur comes. Then Israel knows that Esau has come and four hundred men with him, all of them are adversaries ready to bring judgments on them.
Genesis 32:8
“So Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed, and he divided the people that were with him, and the flocks and herds and camels, into two companies.”

Jacob became very afraid and made a lot of prayers and petitions to Hashem. And Jacob said,
Genesis 32:10
“Then Jacob said, “O God of my father Abraham and God of my father Isaac, YHVH, who said to me, ‘Return to your country and to your family, and I will deal well with you’:”
Jacob decided to bring offerings to please Esau so he would forget the reason for hate. He took two hundred and twenty goats and two hundred lambs, and more camels.

#222
Camels is the Snake that was like a camel when the angel Samal tempted Adam to eat from the Tree of Knowledge. He was riding a snake like a kind of camel. We learned that whoever saw a camel in his dream was punished from above and was saved from it. The camel and the snake that brought death to the world are one matter.

Lesson;
Jacob distracted the forces of the other side that came with judgment with the offering of the Scapegoat of Yom Kippur. He prayed to Hashem to save him from the judgment that Esau brought with his forces.
