Zohar Chaye Sarah
The child is reference to the archangel Metat-. He has no powers of his own except what he receives from the blessings that the Nukva (Female, Malchut) receives at set times. Metat- doesn’t receive light when there is an interference that blocks the Light from coming to Malchut, like when there’s a Solar or Lunar eclipse and Earth, Malchut, doesn’t receive the light. In such situation Metat- cannot share the blessings from above and Malchut connects to the Klipot that bring judgments to the world.
Sarah didn’t die by the Snake, who is the angel of death because he didn’t have control over her. He has control over all people of the world that die by his hands since Adam sinned and brought mortality to the world. Moses, Aaron, Miriam and Sarah died by a ‘kiss’ from God (Numbers 20:1, Numbers 33:38; Deuteronomy 34:5). Because Miriam and Sarah were women and for the honor of the Shechina, the Torah doesn’t say it explicitly as it said on Moses and Aaron.
“וַתָּמָת שָׂרָה, בְּקִרְיַת אַרְבַּע הִוא חֶבְרוֹן–בְּאֶרֶץ כְּנָעַן; וַיָּבֹא, אַבְרָהָם, לִסְפֹּד לְשָׂרָה, וְלִבְכֹּתָהּ”
“And Sarah died at Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron) in the land of Canaan, and Abraham went in to mourn for Sarah and to weep for her.”
‘Kiryat-Arba’ (city of four), a name relates to the three patriarchs and King David. ‘Hebron’ implies ‘connected’ to the body.
The word Hebron, ‘חברון’ has the root ‘חבר’ that means ‘connection’. ‘in the land of Canaan’ means ‘connected’ to Malchut.
The Cave of the Machpelah is In Hebron where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are buried together with Adam that was the first King over Malchut until he sinned. He gave King David 70 years of his life to be the King of of the Holy Land, Malchut. King David was anointed to be the King of Judah in Hebron (2 Samuel 2:4), where he ruled for seven years until he moved to Jerusalem to be the king over all Israel for 33 years. King David is the aspect of Malchut and in addition to the three patriarchs, he is the fourth element referenced in the name of the city ‘Kiriath-arba’.
Kiriath-arba is the aspect of the higher Malchut that is called the Land of Life. When the Torah says that Sarah passed away in this city next to the four, it tells us that Sarah didn’t die by the angel of death that controls the lower Malchut but by the kiss of God.
