#151
There are six Mitzvot, which also apply here in prayer:
a) To have awe, fear, and revere the awesome Holy Name.
b) To love Him.
c) To bless Him.
d) To unify with Him.
e) For the priest to bless the people.
f) To commit one’s soul to Him.
These six Mitzvot that apply in prayer are dependent on speech, apart from those Mitzvot that depend on action, such as tzitzit and tefillin.
#152
He explains that the six Mitzvot above, To fear the Name: a) This Mitzva applies to King David’s praises and to the sacrifices in the Torah, where a person needs to fear his Master. Because those Psalms stand in the place called awe and fear, which is Malchut, and all these Halleluyahs that are written are the secret of fearing the Holy One, Blessed be He, which is Malchut. A person needs to place his will in these songs in fear. The friends have established all the secrets of these songs, praises, and all the secrets of Halleluyah.
