Because the angel went before Sarai to protect her, it is written?
Genesis 12:17
“וַיְנַגַּע יְהוָה אֶת פַּרְעֹה נְגָעִים גְּדֹלִים וְאֶת בֵּיתוֹ עַל דְּבַר שָׂרַי אֵשֶׁת אַבְרָם.”
“But YHVH plagued Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai, Abram’s wife.”
“Because of Sarai,” that is, because of her words, she would say to the angel, “strike,” and he would strike Pharaoh. And therefore, Abraham did not fear anything for her, for she was guarded, and what he feared for himself, he feared because he did not see such protection for himself.

Come and see, ten times Sarai commanded the angel to strike Pharaoh, and he was hit with ten plagues. Sarai made a sign to her descendants that would come after her to Egypt, that is, that the Egyptians would be struck with ten plagues until they would be redeemed from their hands.

Micha 7:15
“כִּימֵי צֵאתְךָ מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרָיִם אַרְאֶנּוּ נִפְלָאוֹת.”
“As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them wonders.”
Rabbi Aba reflects on this verse, saying, “The Holy One, Blessed be He, is destined to show redemption to His children, just as He did in the days of Egypt. But there is a difference. The redemption from Egypt was under one king and one kingdom, while the Final Redemption will involve all the kings of the world. In that moment, the Holy One, Blessed be He, will be honored throughout the world, and all will acknowledge His sovereignty. All will be struck with supreme plagues of double force, for they will all refuse to release Israel.
