Come and see: How many forces were aroused above together, and the Holy One, blessed be He, mixed them together, to mix their strong powers above. And all these mighty acts that the Holy One, blessed be He, did in Egypt were with one hand, which is the strong hand (יָד חֲזָקָה), as mentioned above. That He raised His hand upon them above and below, and from there the wisdom of Egypt was lost, as it is written: “וְאָבְדָה חָכְמַת חֲכָמָיו וּבִינַת נְבֹנָיו תִּסְתַּתָּר.”, “And the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, And the discernment of their discerning men shall be concealed” (Isaiah 29:14).
Notes:
The plagues united powers above and struck with one strong hand (יָד חֲזָקָה), destroying Egypt’s wisdom (וְאָבְדָה חָכְמַת חֲכָמָיו). This reflects God’s complete dominion, merging mercy and judgment for redemption.

Come and see: It is written “וְסִכְסַכְתִּי מִצְרַיִם בְּמִצְרַיִם”, “And I will stir up Egypt against Egypt” (Isaiah 19:2). That is, He stirred the upper Egypt, which are their ministers (שרים, ממונים), against the lower Egypt.
Because those hosts above are appointed over the hosts below, and they were all mixed, their arrangements above were mixed, and the Egyptians could not connect with their sorcery in those places of their ministers above, where they were connected at first, for they were mixed.
And therefore He brought upon them the plague of arov (ערוב, swarms), which are creatures that were mixed with one another.
Notes:
God mixed upper ministers with lower Egypt (וְסִכְסַכְתִּי), disrupting sorcery and bringing mixed swarms (ערוב).
