Tikkun 48 – 3
“שְׁבוּ אִישׁ תַּחְתָּיו, אַל-יֵצֵא אִישׁ מִמְּקֹמוֹ–בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי”
“abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day”
The rest on the seventh day is also for our dwellings and objects. We should not move anything out of our personal property.
The light of Shabbat comes to everything that we own and moving them away from us drains that light away to the other side.
It is better to totally disconnect from activities of the regular days, including speaking. Focus on connecting to the Light of Binah that is circular light that brings continuation and Life force. When our actions on Shabbat are like during the working days, then we restrict this light and let it drain outside of us. This takes us away from the life force of Binah.
Shabbat is a good day to keep silent. It is better to avoid long conversations on trivial and mundane issues. Replace talks with reading and studying Zohar to bring the blessings and energy of Shabbat that we need for the coming week.
We bless each other with ‘Shabbat Shalom’, meaning Shabbat of Peace and this is the goal we wish to achieve on that day.
