The morning connection is in the frame of Chessed, Right column, Abraham; the afternoon is in the frame of Gevurah, Left Column, fear, Isaac and the evening in the frame of Tiferet, Jacob.
Jacob connected right and left and sweetened the judgments with the mercy of the right column, Chessed.
