These terms are complex to understand because they can have MANY aspects.

מנעולא – Literally means ‘Lock.’ The main aspect is judgment.
Man’ula is a point where the Light(s) is restricted, “Locked”.

מפתחא – Literally means key/open; the main aspect is mercy
Maftecha is a point with an opening to reveal the upper light.
