Zohar Shemot
The vision of Ezekiel happened when the Israelites were in the Babylonian exile. The vision revealed that the Shechina and all the armies of heavens are with them. They felt at ease, knowing that God is with them and the Exile will end someday.
Exodus 1:1
“וְאֵלֶּה, שְׁמוֹת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל, הַבָּאִים, מִצְרָיְמָה: אֵת יַעֲקֹב, אִישׁ וּבֵיתוֹ בָּאוּ”
“These are the names of the sons of Israel who came to Egypt with Jacob, each with his household:”
The Zohar explains that ‘with Jacob, each with his household:’ is the aspect of the Shechinah and the camps of angels that came with Jacob to the Exile in Egypt.
Rabbi Avraham Azulai revealed that Rabbi Shimon wrote the Zohar to support Shechina in the generations that lead to the Final Redemption.
The entire world is in exile because we don’t have the Holy Temple and we don’t have spiritual giants that can draw great light to the world.
Rabbi Shimon saw the future and prepared a special spiritual tool for the future generations.
Those who keep their connection to the Zohar benefit from the support of the Shechina. When the Redeemer comes and takes us out of exile we will see the Shechinah and the full revelation of light in the world.
Having Zohar at home without opening it is the aspect of idol worshiping. The only excuse is if you study Zohar online like with the Daily Zohar. Open your Zohar books and read/scan/study because it’s what you need to make higher level spiritual connection to the Shechina. If you don’t have Zohar books at home go to http://UnityZohar.com and read Zohar in unity with people around the world.
