Hebrew translation:

וּמִשּׁוּם זֶה, אֶלְעָזָר בְּנִי, אַל תְּצַפֶּה לְרַגְלֵי מָשִׁיחַ, עַד שֶׁתִּרְאֶה אֶת הַקֶּשֶׁת בִּגְוָנֶיהָ הַמְּאִירִים, אוֹ עַד שֶׁיִּתְגַּלֶּה אוֹת בָּעוֹלָם. מַה זֶּה אוֹת? אֶלָּא דָּרַךְ כֹּכָב מִיַּעֲקֹב, זוֹ הָאוֹת י’, אוֹת בְּרִית. וּמִיָּד וְקָם שֵׁבֶט מִיִּשְׂרָאֵל אֵלֶיהָ, אוֹתוֹ שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר בּוֹ וַיְהִי בִישֻׁרוּן מֶלֶךְ.

בֹּא וּרְאֵה, יוֹם אֶחָד שָׁאַלְתִּי אֶת אֵלִיָּהוּ, לָמָּה שָׂמִים הָעָרְלָה בִּכְלִי עָפָר? אָמַר לִי, שָׁמַעְתִּי בַּיְשִׁיבָה, שֶׁעָרְלָה הוּא נָחָשׁ, וְכֵיוָן שֶׁמַּעֲבִירִים אוֹתוֹ מִמְּקוֹמוֹ, צָרִיךְ לָתֵת לוֹ מְזוֹנוֹ, זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב וְנָחָשׁ עָפָר לַחְמוֹ, וּבְוַדַּאי, בְּנִי, בָּזֶה נִצָּל אָדָם מִדִּין חִבּוּט הַקֶּבֶר, וְהַדָּם שֶׁמַּטִּיפִים מֵהַפְּרִיעָה, לָתֵת מָזוֹן לְאוֹתוֹ הַכֶּלֶב שֶׁהוּא רוֹצֵחַ, וּבָזֶה נִצָּל אָדָם מֵחַרְבּוֹ שֶׁל מַלְאַךְ הַמָּוֶת.

Tikkun 37 – 3

Rabbi Shimon reveals to us that before Mashiach is revealed in the world, we should see all the shining colors of the rainbow. The meaning of this is that the seven sefirot of the world of Tikkun are cleared of negativity. Only then the upper light could be revealed. This light is represented by the letter Yod of the YHVH name and it is the mark of the covenant. (Covenant = בְּרִית = Circumcision)
