Proverbs 3:17
“דְּרָכֶיהָ דַרְכֵי נֹעַם וְכָל נְתִיבוֹתֶיהָ שָׁלוֹם.”
“Her ways are pleasant ways and all her paths are peaceful.”
Isaiah 43:16
“כֹּה אָמַר יְהוָה הַנּוֹתֵן בַּיָּם דָּרֶךְ וּבְמַיִם עַזִּים נְתִיבָה.”
“Thus says YHVH, who makes a way in the sea And a path through the mighty waters,”
Each time we read ‘דָּרֶךְ’ ‘way’ in the Torah, it implies an open way for all, as it is in the corporeal world. ‘Her ways are pleasant’ is the aspect of the ways opened by the patriarchs, which are Chessed, Gevurah, and Tiferet. They dug these ‘ways’ in Zeir Anpin to create paths from the lines of Binah to the sea that is the aspect of Malchut. And from these ways, the lights open to illuminate every side and all directions of the world
#99
The ‘pleasant’ aspect of the ways is the Lights that come out from Israel Sava and Tevunah that are the lower six sefirot of Binah. The patriarchs inherit these ‘pleasant’ lights that also called the world to come. When the light from the world to come awakens to illuminate, it brings happiness, freedom, and everything good. For that reason, it’s called ‘pleasant’, ‘נעם’.

When Shabbat enters, the wicked in the heavens can rest. When the Shabbat is over we awaken the supernal happiness on us to be saved from the punishment that the wicked go back into immediately after Shabbat.
Psalms 90:17
“וִיהִי נֹעַם אֲדֹנָי אֱלֹהֵינוּ עָלֵינוּ וּמַעֲשֵׂה יָדֵינוּ כּוֹנְנָה עָלֵינוּ וּמַעֲשֵׂה יָדֵינוּ כּוֹנְנֵהוּ.”
“And let the pleasantness of YHVH our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.”
The Torah connects us to the pleasant ways as we read in Proverbs 3:17 above “Her ways are pleasant ways and all her paths are peaceful.”
Lesson;
Studies in Shabbat is on the highest level and connects us to the pleasantness that we wish to draw into our lives.
