Hebrew translation:

99. וְכָל מִי שֶׁמִּשְׁתַּדֵּל בַּתּוֹרָה, כְּאִלּוּ הִשְׁתַּדֵּל בְּהֵיכָלוֹ שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא, שֶׁהֵיכָלוֹ הָעֶלְיוֹן שֶׁל הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא הִיא הַתּוֹרָה. וּכְשֶׁאָדָם עוֹסֵק בַּתּוֹרָה, הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא עוֹמֵד שָׁם וּמַקְשִׁיב לְקוֹלוֹ, כַּכָּתוּב (מלאכי ג) וַיַּקְשֵׁב ה’ וַיִּשְׁמָע וְגוֹ’. וְנִצּוֹל הָאָדָם מִשְּׁלֹשָׁה דִינִים: מִדִּין הָעוֹלָם הַזֶּה, וּמִדִּין מַלְאַךְ הַמָּוֶת שֶׁלֹּא יָכוֹל לִשְׁלֹט עָלָיו, וּמִדִּין הַגֵּיהִנֹּם.
100. וַיִּכָּתֵב סֵפֶר זִכָּרוֹן. מִי הוּא? אֶלָּא יֵשׁ סֵפֶר לְמַעְלָה וְיֵשׁ סֵפֶר לְמַטָּה. זִכָּרוֹן – (אוֹת) הַבְּרִית הַקָּדוֹשׁ שֶׁנּוֹטֵל וְכוֹנֵס אֵלָיו אֶת כָּל הַחַיִּים שֶׁלְּמַעְלָה. סֵפֶר זִכָּרוֹן – שְׁתֵּי דְרָגוֹת שֶׁהֵן אַחַת, וְסוֹד זֶה שֵׁם יְהֹוָ”ה שֵׁם אֶחָד. יְהֹוָ”ה אֶחָד. וְהַכֹּל דָּבָר אֶחָד.

Those who make efforts to study Torah in this world, it is like they study in the supernal palace of the Holy One Blessed be He that listens to them. These people are saved from three judgments; one is a judgment from this world, second is from the judgment of the angel of death, and from the judgment of hell.

The Zohar asks what is the ‘book of remembrance’ ‘ספר זכרון’ and answers that there is a book above that is Chokmah, and there is a book below that is Malchut. ‘Remembrance’ ‘זכרון’ is the aspect of the Holy Covenant that is Yessod that collects and gather the Life force from above, the supernal Mochin (Essense of the upper light) that is Remembrance Book. It includes two levels as one. Malchut is one and YHVH’s name, meaning Zeir Anpin is one. “Remembrance Book’ is considered as one word that includes Malchut and Yessod.

Lesson;
‘Remembrance’ ‘זכרון’ has the root ‘זכר’ that means ‘male’. A male is the aspect of a channel that delivers light. That is why the Zohar tells us that is it Yessod that brings life to the world. In the body, Yessod is the reproductive organ that brings life from the upper levels to the world.
‘Book’ ‘ספר’, also means a ‘story’ ‘count’ that represents manifestation in Malchut.
Everything we do is registered in the ‘Book of Remembrance’ so we can receive from the upper Light in Malchut.
