Daily Zohar # 3745 – Beresheet – Gather the water into the dry land
Hebrew translation:
.
Zohar Beresheet
Genesis 1:9
“וַיֹּאמֶר אֱלֹהִים יִקָּווּ הַמַּיִם מִתַּחַת הַשָּׁמַיִם אֶל מָקוֹם אֶחָד וְתֵרָאֶה הַיַּבָּשָׁה וַיְהִי כֵן.”
“Then God said, “Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear”; and it was so.”
To gather the water means that the ‘מוחין’ Mochin (light from the upper three Sefirot) that is called water spreads in a straight line and on the same level without leaning toward the Right or the Left.
This Zohar explains the flow of the upper Light from the original entry point to the world, which is Arich Anpin. It comes out in a concealed way into Arich Anpin, then Chokmah and Binah come out in the secret of the Cholam (וֹ), then the Light gathered in the upper palace in the secret of the Shorek (וּ), then Chokmah gathered and dressed with the Light of Chassadim with the power of the Chirik (וִ) to Israel Sava and Tevuna. From there in a direct path, the Light expands to Zeir Anpin to the point that is called ‘חי העולמים’ ‘Life of the worlds’, that is Yessod of Zeir Anpin. Yessod is included from male and female because Yessod makes unification with Malchut that is female.
#67
“Let the waters under the heavens” is the water that comes out from the upper ה H of the name that is Israel Sava and Tevuna. “Under the heavens” is a small ו Vav that is Yessod of Zeir Anpin. Zeir Anpin is the large ו Vav, and its Yessod is the small Vav. The word ‘יִקָּווּ’ ‘Gather,’ has two Vavs to represent all the sefirot of Zeir Anpin and the unification with Malchut.
“and let the dry land appear” reveals that Malchut receives the Lights from the upper levels and reveals them in the lower level.
