Zohar Balak

Continued from previous DZ
#356
The levels of Light (Sefirot) spread down as the upper level dresses the level below it until reaching the “morning of Joseph.” The level that dresses the one below it is called upper wings.
Joseph, Yessod, takes all the upper lights, and because of that, his radiance rises from one end of the world to the other end of the world. The world below Joseph could not endure his light until King David came and made a candle that was a vessel for Malchut to receive the Light from Yessod.
Rabbi Aba came and kissed him, saying if I did not go out on this way but to hear this thing, that is enough for me.

#357
While they were walking, one dove came to Rabbi Elazar, landed, and chirped before him. Rabbi Elazar said, a kosher dove, you are always faithful in your mission, go and tell Rabbi Yossi, my father-in-law, friends are coming to you, and I am with them. A miracle will happen to us within three days but let no fear fall on you, for we are going to it happily. Another time he said, I’m not very happy because one full pomegranate was given to replace him, meaning he died in his place, and his name is Yossi. The dove left, and the friends walked away.

Lesson;
Rabbi Yossi, the father-in-law of Rabbi Elazar, was gravely ill, and Rabbi Elazar went to visit him. and the friends joined him. The dove that came to him represented a good message, and they expected a miracle recovery for Rabbi Yossi. They were not so happy because another person died instead of the father-in-law. His name was Yossi, the same as the name of the father-in-law. That person was “A full pomegranate” “מָלֵא מִצְווֹת כָּרִמּוֹן,” which means a righteous person full of good deeds.

King David, with his great humility, established a path to the vessel of Malchut to receive the Light from Yessod. He was in constant connection to Hashem and expressed his love in praises that we read in the book of Psalms.
In 1 Chronicles 29:11-13, he said, “Both riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand, it is to make great and give strength to all.”
“Now, therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.”
“… FOR ALL THINGS COME OF YOU, AND FROM YOUR HAND WE HAVE GIVEN TO YOU”
Our main goal in life should be to reach the level of consciousness and awareness that everything is from Hashem. The good and the challenging which is also good because challenges are processes that refine the vessel to receive more Light. King David was a king but had many challenges. Yet, he was always with Hashem.
When we lose the gravity of the ego, our soul can connect higher to Yessod, and as a result, it opens a flow of light that manifests in our lives in what is best for us.

  • As we celebrate 4000 DZ studies, I wish to express my endless love and thanks to Hashem for the strength and wisdom he bestowed upon me to do the work of the Daily Zohar for over 13 years. With his grace and compassion, may he grant me the merits to complete the study and share with all the entire Zohar and more kabbalistic writings.
  • I give thanks to Rabbi Shimon, Rabbi Ashlag, and all the great Kabbalists that opened doors of wisdom and clarity to the radiance of the Zohar.
  • I thank Hashem for opening people’s hearts to appreciate and support the Daily Zohar. They are spiritual partners, and Hashem blessed them.
  • I pray for all to have the strength to stay on the path of Torah and Zohar. It is not always easy, but those who persist on the path will see the Light in this world or the world to come.
  • B”H we continue with thousands more studies.
