Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -4061

Hebrew translation:

487. כָּעֵת רְאֵה מַה כָּתוּב, וַיִּשָּׂא בִלְעָם אֶת עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל. רָצָה לְהִסְתַּכֵּל בָּהֶם בְּעַיִן רָעָה. בְּשָׁעָה זוֹ אִלְמָלֵא הִקְדִּים הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא רְפוּאָה, הָיָה מְאַבֵּד אוֹתָם בְּהִסְתַּכְּלוּת עֵינָיו. וְאֵיזוֹ רְפוּאָה נָתַן הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְיִשְׂרָאֵל בְּאוֹתָהּ שָׁעָה? זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב וַתְּהִי עָלָיו רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים. וַתְּהִי עָלָיו, עַל יִשְׂרָאֵל הוּא אוֹמֵר. כְּמִי שֶׁפּוֹרֵשׂ סוּדָר עַל רֹאשׁ הַתִּינוֹק כְּדֵי שֶׁלֹּא תִשְׁלֹט בּוֹ עֵינוֹ.
488. אָז הִתְחִיל וְאָמַר, מַה טֹּבוּ אֹהָלֶיךָ יַעֲקֹב. בֹּא וּרְאֵה, כָּל מִי שֶׁרוֹצֶה לְהִסְתַּכֵּל בְּעַיִן רָעָה, לֹא יָכוֹל, אֶלָּא כְּשֶׁמְּשַׁבֵּחַ וּמְכַבֵּד אֶת אוֹתוֹ הַדָּבָר שֶׁרוֹצֶה לְקַלֵּל בְּעַיִן רָעָה. וּמַה דַּרְכּוֹ? אָמַר, רְאוּ כַּמָּה טוֹב זֶה, כַּמָּה נָאֶה זֶה! כְּדֵי שֶׁתִּשְׁלֹט בּוֹ עַיִן רָעָה. גַּם כָּאן אָמַר, מַה טֹּבוּ אֹהָלֶיךָ יַעֲקֹב, כַּמָּה יָפִים הֵם, כַּמָּה נָאִים הֵם, כַּמָּה נְטִיעוֹת יָפוֹת שֶׁנִּנְטְעוּ מֵהֶם, דּוֹמִים לְאוֹתָן נְטִיעוֹת שֶׁנָּטַע הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא בְּגַן עֵדֶן נָאוֹת. מִי יִתֵּן וְאֵלּוּ (שֶׁאֵלּוּ) הַנְּטִיעוֹת נִמְצְאוּ מֵאוֹתָם עֲנִיִּים שֶׁבָּהֶם.

Numbers 24:2
“וַיִּשָּׂא בִלְעָם אֶת עֵינָיו וַיַּרְא אֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל שֹׁכֵן לִשְׁבָטָיו וַתְּהִי עָלָיו רוּחַ אֱלֹהִים.”
“And Balaam raised his eyes, and saw Israel encamped according to their tribes, and the Spirit of God came upon him.”

Balaam raised his eyes to look at Israel with his evil eye. If the Holy One Blessed be He had not provided a cure at that time, Israel would have been lost to the evil eye of Balaam. And what kind of cure did the Holy One Blessed be He give to Israel at that time? It is written, “and the Spirit of God came upon him.” The Holy One, Blessed be He spread the Spirit of God over Israel. It is like a man who spreads a cloth over a child’s head so that the evil eye won’t control him.

So Balaam said;
Numbers 24:5
“מַה טֹּבוּ אֹהָלֶיךָ יַעֲקֹב מִשְׁכְּנֹתֶיךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל.”
“How good are your tents, O Jacob! Your dwellings, O Israel!”
Anyone who wants to look with the evil eye cannot do it unless he praises and cherishes the same thing that he wants to curse with the evil eye.
The way to do it is by saying how good it is, how pleasant it is so that the evil eye rules over it.
Balaam said how good the house of Jacob is, how pleasant they are, how beautiful they are, and how many beautiful plants were planted from them, similar to those beautiful plants that the Holy One Blessed be He planted in the Garden of Eden. I wish that these plants are from the Garden of Eden.
