Leviticus 19:26
“לֹא תֹאכְלוּ עַל הַדָּם לֹא תְנַחֲשׁוּ וְלֹא תְעוֹנֵנוּ.”
“You shall not eat anything with the blood, nor shall you practice divination or soothsaying.”
Rabbi Yossi opened the discussion with this verse, saying, “The friends have explained it in various places, along with all the subsequent verses, and each one has explained according to its revealed aspect. However, there is a need to explore this verse further. As it is written, 
Leviticus 19:32
“מִפְּנֵי שֵׂיבָה תָּקוּם וְהָדַרְתָּ פְּנֵי זָקֵן וְיָרֵאתָ מֵּאֱלֹהֶיךָ אֲנִי יְהוָה.”
“‘You shall rise before the gray-headed, honor the presence of an old man, and fear your God: I am YHVH.’
“Before the gray head (with white hair, שֵׂיבָה)” means before the Torah, generally referred to as “gray head.” Here, we learn that a person must rise before a Torah scroll. And thus did Rav Hamnuna Saba; when he would see a Torah scroll, he would rise before it and say, “מִפְּנֵי שֵׂיבָה תָּקוּם” “Before the gray-headed you shall rise.”
Similarly, a person must rise to his full height before a Torah scholar because he is in the form of the sacred and elevated, which alludes to the holy priest above, who is the supernal father called “זָקֵן” “elder.” As it is written,” וְהָדַרְתָּ פְּנֵי זָקֵן” “and honor the presence of the old man,” who is in the world, referring to the Torah scholar who is with you in the world, alluding to the supernal elder, the supernal father.
Rabbi Shimon said this is a hint about the Written Torah and the Oral Torah. This means that one must rise before the Torah scroll, which is the Written Torah, and one must rise before a Torah scholar, who represents the Oral Torah.
