Daily Zohar 4952
Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -4952

Zohar Beresheet
Continued from previous DZ
#352
He asks: What is the reason that the Light (אור העיניים, Or HaEinayim) was concealed? And he answers: So that the wicked of the world would not benefit from it, and the worlds do not benefit from the Light because of the wicked. And it is hidden for the righteous (צפון לצדיקים, tzaddikim), and specifically for the righteous, as it is written, ‘אוֹר זָרוּעַ לַצַּדִּיק וּלְיִשְׁרֵי לֵב שִׂמְחָה’—’ Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart’ (Psalms 97:11). And then the worlds will be sweetened through the revelation of this Light, and they will all become one. And until the day when Binah, which is called Olam HaBa (the world to come), is revealed, the Light remains hidden and concealed.

Notes:
Beresheet’s mapping of the Sefirot (Keter to Malchut) includes Chagat Nehi (חג” ת נה” י , ו” ק) in Chokhmah (ג” ר, G” R). This passage’s יהי אור, Yehi Or, and ויהי, Vayehi extend this, with Binah and Malchut unified through inclusion (hitkalelut), as seen in Malchut’s role as ראשית, Resheet.
#353
This Light (Or HaEinayim), which is revealed from Olam HaBa (the world to come), emerges from the darkness that was engraved in the engravings (חקיקות) of the Hidden of All (נסתר מכל), meaning in the engravings within Binah, which is the secret of Olam HaBa in the mystery of the shuruk point (וּ) within her. For when Binah ascends and unites with the head (ראש) of Arich Anpin (א” א, A” A), where there is Chokhmah without Chassadim, darkness emerges in the lower seven sefirot (ז” ת, Zat) of Binah. This is because the Zat of Binah, which is the secret of the inclusion (hitkalelut) of Zeir Anpin (ז” א, Z” A) and Nukva in Binah, since their essence is rooted in Chassadim, cannot receive the Light of Chokhmah without the garment (לבוש, levush) of Chassadim, and thus darkness is formed in them. Until a single hidden path is engraved from the concealed Light (אור הגנוז, Ohr HaGanuz) to the darkness below, which is the secret of the masach of chirik (וִ). And then the Light dwells in it, meaning that the concealed Light (Ohr HaGanuz) is revealed in the worlds.

Notes:
This Zohar passage expands on Genesis 1:3 (יהי אור, Yehi Or), describing the Or HaEinayim (Chokhmah) emerging from the darkness in Binah’s lower seven sefirot, through a hidden path formed by the masach of chirik (וִ), revealing the Light to the worlds. It connects to prior sections on Beresheet’s sefirot mapping (Keter to Malchut), Et HaShamayim (Z” A and Nukva’s zivug), Elokim’s permutations, Vayehi’s unity of Olam HaBa and Olam HaZeh, and the Ohr HaEinayim’s concealment for the tzaddikim.

The Ohr HaEinayim (Chokhmah, וּ, shuruk) in Binah (Olam HaBa) causes darkness (חושך, choshech) in Zat of Binah (Z” A and Nukva), as they require Chassadim (וֹ, cholam). The masach of chirik (וִ), identified as Tiferet/Yessod (קול, Kol, previous section), forms a hidden path, enabling inclusion (hitkalelut) to clothe Chokhmah in Chessed through Z” A’s חג” ת, Chagat (Gedulah/Chessed [וֹ], Gevurah [וּ], Tiferet [וִ], previous section) and Nehi (Netzach, Hod, Yessod, בדים, badim). This allows the Ohr HaGanuz to descend to Malchut (הארץ, HaAretz), revealing it in the worlds.
