And therefore Benjamin was called by her “בֶּן אוֹנִי”, “son of my strength” (Genesis 35:18), because she thought she had given birth to him below Atzilut, in the world of separation (בפירוד). And there remained eleven in those upper tribes, that is, in Atzilut. What is written? “וְאָבִיו קָרָא לוֹ בִּנְיָמִין”, “And his father called him Benjamin” (Genesis 35:18), which means “son of the right” (בֶּן יָמִין), for he ascended above in the upper world. For when Joseph was lost, Benjamin filled his place.
Notes:
Rachel named him בֶּן אוֹנִי (son of my strength), thinking he was born in the world of separation below Atzilut. Jacob renamed him בִּנְיָמִין (son of the right), signifying his true place in Atzilut, on the right side. When Joseph (the lower Tzaddik) was lost, Benjamin (the upper Tzaddik) took his role, completing the twelve in Atzilut.

Rabbi Shimon opened and said: “אוֹדֶה יְהוָה בְּכָל לֵבָב”, “I will praise YHVH with all my heart” (Psalms 111:1).
He asks: It is written “בְּכָל לֵבָב” (with all my heart, with double Bet בב), whereas it should have said “בְּכָל לֵב” (with a single Bet ב).
He answers: David wanted to give thanks to the Holy One, blessed be He, in the upper secret of the holy Name YHVH.
“אוֹדֶה יְהוָה בְּכָל לֵבָב” means with the good inclination and with the evil inclination, which are two hearts (two Bet’s). These are the two inclinations that dwell in the heart, and they are the two sides: right and left.
Notes:
The double Bet teaches that true praise of YHVH uses both the good inclination (right, Chassadim) and the evil inclination (left, Gevurah), transforming both into service of the Holy Name. This continues the theme of uniting right and left for complete divine praise.

“בְּסוֹד יְשָׁרִים וְעֵדָה”, “In the council of the upright and in the congregation” (Psalms 111:1). These are the other sides in this world, which is the Nukva. For לֵבָב (heart, double Bet) is like south and north, which are Chessed and Gevurah.
“בְּסוֹד יְשָׁרִים”, “In the council of the upright”: these are the remaining sides in the world, which are the six ends (Netzach- Hod- Yessod), similar to those above, that is, Chessed- Gevurah- Tiferet- Netzach- Hod- Yessod. And it turns out that בְּסוֹד יְשָׁרִים refers to Netzach- Hod- Yessod. “וְעֵדָה”, “and in the congregation”: this is the place of Yehuda, that is, Malchut. As it is written: “וְעֵדֹתַי זוֹ אֲלַמְּדֵם”, “And My testimonies, this I will teach them” (Psalms 132:12), meaning the Oral Torah, which is Malchut.
Notes:
Uniting all directions is a perfect praise of the Holy Name, YHVH, with all aspects of the lower world (Nukva).
