Man אדם was created in this world as a chariot for the supernal man אדם, Zeir Anpin. It was on the sixth day when the Throne that is Malchut was completed. The throne has six levels that are the six sefirot; Chessed, Gevurah, Tiferet, Netzach, Hod, and Yessod.
The man was worthy of sitting on the Throne, after the completion of the six sefirot. For that reason, man represents Zeir Anpin above, and Malchut below, and everything is included in him.

Ezekiel 1:10
“וּדְמוּת פְּנֵיהֶם פְּנֵי אָדָם וּפְנֵי אַרְיֵה אֶל הַיָּמִין לְאַרְבַּעְתָּם וּפְנֵי שׁוֹר מֵהַשְּׂמֹאול לְאַרְבַּעְתָּן וּפְנֵי נֶשֶׁר לְאַרְבַּעְתָּן.”
“As for the likeness of their faces, each had the face of a man; each of the four had the face of a lion on the right side, each of the four had the face of an ox on the left side, and each of the four had the face of an eagle.”
Rabbi Yossi said we learned that “each had the face of a man”, meaning that the ‘face’ of man included all the others. The faces of Lion, Ox, and Eagle are expressed in the face of man.
The vision of Ezekiel says a ‘face of a Lion’, ‘a face of an Ox’. It didn’t say, a Lion, Ox, or Eagle, as it would be proper if the animal was there.
The face of the man was on all four sides expressing all aspects and shapes.
