Daily Zohar # 5220 – Vayikra – She is awakened with the north wind

And when the holy hind (הָאַיֶּלֶת הַקְּדוֹשָׁה) awakens, which is Malchut, with the north wind, that is at midnight, she descends. And that righteous one who has acquired a neshama rises and strengthens himself like a mighty lion in Torah until the morning light shines. And then he goes with that holy hind to appear before the King, to receive from Him one thread of Chessed. And what is it? This is the thread of Abraham, that is the light of Chessed, which he acquired. As it is written, “אִם מִחוּט וְעַד שְׂרוֹךְ נַעַל” “if from a thread even to a shoelace” (Genesis 14:23). He did not benefit from another at all, and said “if from a thread…” Therefore he merited that thread, which is the light of Chessed. And this is called the thread of Abraham.
Notes:
At midnight, when Malchut awakens with the north wind, the righteous one who has acquired a neshama rises to study Torah with the strength of a lion. At dawn he ascends with Malchut before the King and receives the thread (Silver) of Chessed that Abraham merited by refusing any reward from others.

And when that righteous one comes with that hind(הָאַיָּלָה), which is Malchut, then he is crowned with her before the King. And David says, “לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל אַיֶּלֶת הַשַּׁחַר” “For the leader, upon the hind of the dawn” (Psalms 22:1). This is the Congregation of Israel, Malchut. “The hind of the dawn” is the song of the Congregation of Israel that they say in exile: “אֵלִי אֵלִי לָמָה עֲזַבְתָּנִי” “My God, my God, why have You forsaken me…” (Psalms 22:2).
Notes:
The righteous one who joins Malchut at dawn is crowned with her before the King. David’s psalm “the hind of the dawn” refers to Malchut in exile, expressing the cry of longing that the Congregation of Israel raises until the light of redemption comes.
