Hebrew translation:

481. אָמַר רַבִּי יִצְחָק, כָּל (הַדּוֹרוֹת שֶׁנִּתְקְנוּ מִשֵּׁת, כֻּלָּם צַדִּיקִים וַחֲסִידִים. אַחַר כָּךְ הִתְפַּשְּׁטוּ וְהוֹלִידוּ, וְלָמְדוּ אֻמָּנוּת [וְחָכְמָה]) הָעוֹלָם לַהֲרֹג בִּרְמָחִים וּבַחֲרָבוֹת. עַד שֶׁבָּא נֹחַ וְהִתְקִין לָהֶם תִּקּוּן הָעוֹלָם וְלַעֲבֹד וּלְתַקֵּן אֶת הָאָרֶץ. שֶׁהֲרֵי בַּהַתְחָלָה לֹא הָיוּ זוֹרְעִים וְקוֹצְרִים, אַחַר כָּךְ הִצְטָרְכוּ אֶת זֶה, שֶׁכָּתוּב עוֹד כָּל יְמֵי הָאָרֶץ וְגוֹ’.
482. רַבִּי אֶלְעָזָר אָמַר, עָתִיד הַקָּדוֹשׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא לְתַקֵּן עוֹלָם וּלְהַתְקִין רוּחַ בִּבְנֵי אָדָם כְּדֵי שֶׁיַּאֲרִיכוּ יָמִים לְעוֹלָמִים. זֶהוּ שֶׁכָּתוּב (ישעיה סה) כִּי כִּימֵי הָעֵץ יְמֵי עַמִּי וְגוֹ’. וְכָתוּב (שם כה) בִּלַּע הַמָּוֶת לָנֶצַח וּמָחָה ה’ אֱלֹהִים דִּמְעָה מֵעַל כָּל פָּנִים וְחֶרְפַּת עַמּוֹ יָסִיר מֵעַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ כִּי ה’ דִּבֵּר. עַד כָּאן נִתְקְנוּ הַדְּבָרִים. מִכָּאן וָהָלְאָה תִּקּוּן הַפָּרָשָׁה.

Rabbi Yitzchak said, All the generations that were completed and came from Seth were all righteous and pious. Afterward, they spread throughout the world, gave birth to children, and learned the craft of the world to destroy with spears and swords; that is, they lived by their sword. Until Noah came and established for them the correction of the world, to work and to correct the ground. For at first they did not sow and plow, because they lived by their sword; but afterward they needed this, as it is written, “עֹד כָּל יְמֵי הָאָרֶץ…” “While the earth remains…” (Genesis 8:22). So then sowing and harvest were practiced in the world.
Notes:
The early generations from Seth were righteous. Later they lived by the sword. Noah restored the work of the ground, and from then on seedtime and harvest continued in the world.

Rabbi Elazar said, The Holy One, blessed be He, is destined to correct the world and to correct the spirit of life in human beings in such a way that they will live forever. This is what is written, “כִּי כִּימֵי הָעֵץ יְמֵי עַמִּי” “For as the days of the tree shall be the days of My people…” (Isaiah 65:22). And it is written, “בִּלַּע הַמָּוֶת לָנֶצַח וּמָחָה אֲדֹנָי יְהוִה דִּמְעָה מֵעַל כָּל פָּנִים וְחֶרְפַּת עַמּוֹ יָסִיר מֵעַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ כִּי יְהוָה דִּבֵּר” “He will swallow up death forever, and the YHVH ELHYM will wipe away tears from upon all faces, and the disgrace of His people He will remove from upon all the earth, for YHVH has spoken” (Isaiah 25:8).
Notes:
In the future, the Holy One, blessed be He, will restore the spirit of life so that people live as long as the tree. Death will be swallowed forever, and the shame of exile will be removed from the earth.
