“’Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned My wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was very jealous for My sake among them, so that I consumed not the children of Israel in My jealousy.”
The faithful Shepherd asks “What is the meaning of ‘returned my wrath?” and explains that there are three appointees on hell. They are מַשְׁחִית, אַף, וְחֵמָה, ‘Destroyer, Anger and Rage’. One is appointed on the sins of blood shed, one on Incest and one on Idol worshiping. ‘חֵמָה’ ‘Rage’,’Wrath’ was flying in the world at the time of the sin of the people. Pinchas’s actions protected the Israelites but not the Erev Rav that as we explained in previous DZ, were busy with their desires and totally disconnected from the spiritual system.
Exodus 35:5
“Take ye from among you (Israelites) an offering unto YHVH, whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it to YHVH offering of gold, and silver, and brass”
Moses delivered a message from God, asking the Israelites and only the Israelites to bring donation offerings for the building of the Tabernacle. The request was for Gold that is the aspect of the Left Column, Silver that is the aspect of the Right Column and Brass that is the aspect of the Central column. The three columns bring the balance necessary for complete connection between the lower and upper levels.
It was not a mandatory request but only from the people who are generous in their heart. God didn’t want corrupted energies to be used for the Holy Tabernacle because it would corrupt the channels of Light that he intended to bring out through it.
The Daily Zohar doesn’t ask people directly to make donation for the same reason. The idea is to have a pure channel supported by people who appreciate it and with good willing heart. That is why the Daily Zohar and Unity Zohar impact is deep and reaches thousands of people daily around the world.
It is important to understand this principal in every aspect of life. We should use pure and best ‘ingredient’ in everything we do. Pure consciousness and desire to help and connect to the Light is key ingredient. Simple and pure has stronger energy that lasts for a long time.
The western wall of the Holy Temple will never be destroyed because of three reasons; the first reason is that it was build by the poor people with pure heart and desire to contribute their energy to the building of the Holy. The rich people built the inner and ‘holier’ parts that were destroyed first. The second reason is the west wall is the aspect of Yessod and without Yessod the Light can not come to the world. Yessod is the aspect of a righteous person that connects upper and lower. The third reason is that the Shechina is at the west to be able to connect to Yessod and unify with the Light through our spiritual connection. That is why we turn to the west when doing Kabbalat Shabbat, receiving of the Shabbat.
