Daily Zohar – Tikunim – #153 – Heal your heel
Tikkun #13 continue
Jacob represents the central column, Tiferet, He is holding together Chessed and Gevurah but the below him, Netzach and Hod need correction. It said in Genesis 32:32 “…and he limped upon his thigh”. This verse signifies that there is a Tikkun to be done in the level of Hod, which is the left leg.
When Jacob fought the angel of the negative side the letter Y י from his name Yaakov, יעקב, left him and the name became עקב, meaning “heel” and that is the place where negativity attached to him. It is also part of God’s “punishment” to Adam for following the Snake in the Garden of Eden.
In Genesis 3:15 we read “…and you (the snake) will seek and attack his (Adam’s) heel”. The heel is the lowest part of the body and therefor related to Malchut.
The forces of negativity have the ability to influence negativity on us, in the Malchut level until the “Heel” is healed by walking on the right path and avoiding The Snake.
