Zohar Naso
Continued from previews DZ
The Hebrew word for ‘wicked’,’Evil’ is רשע. Rabbi Ashlag says that the word is initials for רצון של עצמו, which means ‘desire for the self/ego’. Those who conduct their lives based on their selfish desires are considered wicked according to the Zohar.
The Zohar tells us that the those who come to learn the secrets of the Torah with selfish desires and or to inflate their ego meet all kind of negativity and obstacles that block them from understanding the secrets.
We learned in previous study that the ‘good’ is protected with a ‘fence’ and to pass through it one should have affinity with the Light that is inside the fence.
The righteous who wish to connect with pure consciousness and for unification of upper and lower can ask for the gates to be opened for him. The angels that protect the gates open it for him.
Psalms 118:19
“Open to me the gates of righteousness; I shall enter through them, I shall give thanks to YH.”
The Tzadikim can go in through the gate of love to see the concealed Light for them, which is the aspect of deeper understanding of the Torah/Zohar.
And there are gates for those who made Teshuva. Each person according to his pure desire and trusting the Light.
Isaiah 26:2
“Open the gates, that the righteous nation may enter, The one that remains faithful.“
