The precept of loving YHVH means that we should love him like Abraham did. He put his body and soul to follow the words of God and serve him.
From Abraham we learned that those who love YHVH, establish connection to the Ten Sefirot. Abraham went through ten tests of his faith. 1. Commanded to leave his home town and country. 2. Forced to go down to Egypt because of famine in the land. 3. Sarah was take from him to Pharaoh. 4. Had war with the four kings 5. Had to take Hagar for a wife because Sarah couldn’t have children. 6. Had to circumcise himself at old age. 7. Sarah was taken from him to Abimelech 8. Had to send Hagar away 9. Had to send his son Ishmael away 10. Had to bind his son Isaac.
Each one of the tests was against one of the sefirot and Abraham with his strong faith overcomes all the difficulties and as the chariot for Chessed he was able to connect heaven, which is the upper three Sefirot and and earth, the lower seven sefirot.

Abraham connected to the Right of the Holy One Blessed be He that is Chessed of Zeir Anpin and is called ‘אהבה רבה’ ‘Great Love’. The other type of love is ‘אהבת עולם’, ‘love of this world’. It is related to the lower world of Malchut where the love of God is found.
The two types of love are one because love is a unifying force of light and vessel, Zeir Anpin and Malchut. With the power of Love to YHVH, his presence grow bigger within us.
