Genesis 6:9
“אֵלֶּה תּוֹלְדֹת נֹחַ נֹחַ אִישׁ צַדִּיק תָּמִים הָיָה בְּדֹרֹתָיו אֶת הָאֱלֹהִים הִתְהַלֶּךְ נֹחַ”
“These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, blameless in his generation. Noah walked with God”
Noah was righteous and tried to warn his generation about the judgment that would come if they won’t follow the righteous path. They didn’t listen to him and God brought the judgment from Gehennam, which was fire and ice, water and fire. It was cold and boiling hot and all went through this judgment and lost their lives in this world.

Noah entered the Ark and brought with him from all the creatures of the world. As a righteous man, Noah was the aspect of Yessod and after the Flood he was the channel to bring all types of creatures into the world. The same as Yessod on the spiritual level delivers life to Malchut.

Genesis 9:20
“וַיָּחֶל נֹחַ, אִישׁ הָאֲדָמָה; וַיִּטַּע, כָּרֶם.”
“And Noah, the man of the land began and he planted a vineyard”
The Ark was the aspect of Malchut and all the creatures in it were corrected like all the souls that come to the world that have their corrections in Malchut. For that, Noah was called man of the ‘Land’, Malchut.
Because he was righteous, Noah was selected by God to become a bridge between Yessod and Malchut.
