Daily Zohar # 3258 – Beshalach – How to avoid storms
.

Zohar Beshalach

#98
The Lifeforce of Zeir Anpin is received from Binah, which is the world of Creation. The angels that connect Binah to Zeir Anpin, the world of Formation, are called ‘Living’ ‘חיות’ or ‘living Creatures’ ‘חיות הקודש’. They support the three legs of the Holy Throne that is the three columns, established by Abraham for Chessed, Isaac for Gevurah and Jacob for Tiferet. The fourth leg is for Malchut, the world of Action. The angels that continue the energy from Zeir Anpin to Malchut are called ‘Holy wheels ‘, ‘אופני הקודש’.
#99
The Shechina has under her control four camps that are the ‘Holy Wheels’. The chariots of these camps are connected to each other and included within each other on different levels from above to below. Above all, there is a Holy living Creature that is female and at the top of Zeir Anpin. This Holy living Creature commands the movement of the lower camps that depend on her.
All upper and lower levels that evolved from each other arrive at the big sea that is the aspect of Malchut. Like the sea holds everything as one, so is the light that comes down to Malchut.
#100
When the sea raises waves, it is the aspect of judgments. All ships and vessels in the sea go up and down with the waves. It means that all are affected by these judgments. When there is a storm with strong winds, the fish spread to all directions, East, west, north, and south.
The sea is an aspect of Malchut that gathers the ‘water’ from above. The fish represent the positive forces of angels and Torah students that live and protected in the water, which is Chassadim and aspect of Torah studies. They are also affected by the judgments that spread in Malchut.
The people of the world that cause the ‘storm’ by their inequities are responsible for the loss of peace and tranquility of the ‘sea’. Because of the storm, the ‘fish’ scattered and swallowed by the judgments in Malchut.
#101
The storm is the aspect of judgment and also represents the beginning of the correction of the inequities. When a strong leader takes control over the sea, the storm rests, the water gets calm and the ship sails on their intended paths without distraction.
Psalms 104:26
“There go the ships, and Leviathan, which you formed to play in it.”
The ‘Leviathan’ literally translates to ‘whale’ is the aspect of the central Column. He brings the balance and all ‘creatures’ go back to their place.
Lesson;
There are two ‘seas’ that the Zohar teaches us about. The supernal sea is Binah, our mother that gathers the Light from Chokmah and delivers it to the son, Zeir Anpin and the daughter, Malchut.
Malchut is the lower sea that gathers the light from above and manifests it. The storms are the spiritual/physical effect that is caused by the sins and all actions that go against the laws of the Torah. A leader with a strong connection to the Torah has the aspect of a whale. When he teaches the people the storms disappear and the sea/Malchut is back to a state of peace.
The world is now in a state of chaos and there are many storms in effect. They cause great pain all over the world. Because we are close to the Final Redemption, most of our great Tzadikim left the world to support us from heaven, where they can do the most for us. They help with gathering waters of mercy into Binah so we can draw from it into the sea in Malchut. We can do it with studies of the Torah/Zohar that is the aspect of water.
Isaiah 55:1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters (Torah)”
Proverbs 5:15
“Drink water from your own cistern, And running water from your own well.”
Rabbi Shimon explains that the word “מִבּוֹרֶךָ”, ‘cistern’ should be read with a different Nikkud, as ‘מְבוֹרָךְ’, which means ‘blessed’. The verse would then be read as “Drink water (from the Torah) and be blessed, and running water (life force) from your own well (that we dig when we study the Torah)”
