Zohar Behaalotcha
#91
Isaiah 52:13
“הִנֵּה יַשְׂכִּיל עַבְדִּי יָרוּם וְנִשָּׂא וְגָבַהּ מְאֹד.”
“Behold, My Servant shall deal prudently; He shall be exalted and extolled and be very high.”
The Zohar reveals that this verse was said about Moses by the prophet Isaiah. Moses is on the Center Column connecting from Yessod that is the aspect of ‘My Servant’, Tiferet that is the aspect of ‘exalted and extolled’ and Keter that is ‘very high’. He connects the Mashiach, son of David on the Right Column (Chokmah, Chesed, and Netzach), and Mashiach, son of Ephraim on the Left (Gevurah, Binah, and Hod).
Psalms 118:17
“לֹא אָמוּת כִּי אֶחְיֶה וַאֲסַפֵּר מַעֲשֵׂי יָהּ.”
“I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of YHVH.”
‘I shall not die’ is the Left, Mashiach son of Ephraim and ‘but live’ is Right and Mashiach, son of David.’
#92
The Left column draws judgment and brings suffering on Moses so Mashiach, son of Ephraim, ‘shall not die’. Asking for mercy and life for Mashiach, son of Ephraim, comes from Binah after the Light is revealed in the Center column that binds the Left with the Right. It is done with the Shema Israel prayer of the morning that is the aspect of Right and Chessed.
Lesson;
Mashiach, son of Ephraim is also called Mashiach, son of Joseph. The Mashiach from the Left comes from the tribe of Ephraim, who is the son of Joseph, who is the son of Rachel the Matriarch. Mashiach son of David is from the line of Leah.
Moses is Abel, the son of Adam that brought mortality to the world. He will come to make the final Tikun of the world and restore the Light of immortality that was lost by the first sin in the Garden of Eden. Adam was sent away from the Garden of Eden that is where Mashiach awaits the moment he is allowed to come down to Malchut and connect the upper and lower worlds as one.
Mashiach, son of Ephraim, is from the Left that represents the work required to connect to the Right and establish the Center column that brings light to the world.
Isaac is Left and Gevurah. He submitted his life to the hands of his father, Abraham to establish a connection between the Left and the Right and pave the way for the Center Column.
Similarly, Mashiach, son of Ephraim is ready to give his life in order to pave the way for Mashiach son of David to come to this world.
There are many opinions about who was/is or will be the Mashiach of the Left. From this study, we can understand that the unification that we do with our prayers between the right and left, upper and lower, create connections that prepare the path for Mashiach son of David.
The soul of Moses is in the pages of the Zohar and our studies create the aspect of Mashiach, son of Ephraim. It gives him the power to open the upper gates for Mashiach to come to this world.
