He continued to tell them that their village is small and all of them study the Torah. They have an excellent Rabbi, his name is Rabbi Yitzchak bar Yossi from Choza’ah, and every day he tells them new Torah revelation. He says that the Holiday of Sukkot is the time when the Israelites can have control over the ministers of the seventy nations.
Psalms 124:5,6
“אֲזַי עָבַר עַל נַפְשֵׁנוּ הַמַּיִם הַזֵּידוֹנִים.”
“בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה שֶׁלֹּא נְתָנָנוּ טֶרֶף לְשִׁנֵּיהֶם.”
“Then the raging waters Would have gone over our soul.”
“Blessed be YHVH, Who has not given us as prey to their teeth.”

The Zohar asks about the connection between ‘raging waters’ and ‘their teeth’ and explains that ‘raging waters’ are the other nations and ‘their teeth’ are the ministries that govern them. They receive blessings from the side of Israel.

To govern the other nations, Israel uses the Holy Name that is connected to the four species of the Lulav. The three myrtles are the secret of Chessed, Gevurah, and Yessod drawn from the Y י of the YHVH name. The willow branches are the secrets of Netzach, and Hod from the first Hה of the name. The Lulav, which is the palm branch, is the secret of Yessod from the V ו of the name. The Etrog is Malchut from the lower Hה of the name.
The Lulav connection pleases the Holy One Blessed be He, and it awakens the abundance of the upper waters for the ritual of pouring the water over the Altar that is the aspect of Malchut. These rituals support Israel to overcome the raging waters.

He adds that the first awakening is on Rosh Hashanah when the female returns to the state she was on the fourth day of Creation, which was incomplete and full of judgments. The first awakening is the lower court that is awakened to judge the world. At that time, the Holy One Blessed be He sits on the throne of judgment and judges the whole world.
