Holy Zohar text. Daily Zohar -353.

Tikkun 21– 94

Psalms 12:1 “ לַמְנַצֵּחַ עַל-הַשְּׁמִינִית, מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד”
“For the Leader on the eighth. A song of David”

King David used 8 cords in his harp to praise the Holy one Bless be He. Each cord played 8 levels and 8 times 8 is 64. When we add 8 for the letters of the names YHVH and ADNY we get 72. This represents the revelation of the light in Malchut.

The Zohar tells us that this is the secret of חשמל, electricity. The vibrations of the light while in the process of movement between the source and the vessel are called ‘electricity’. It has the two states, one is ‘feeling’ חש, which is a passive state of receiving and the second state is vibrating, מל, which are the actions on the levels of the seven Sefirot (Chessed to Malchut).

Our body is held in its form with the power of that ‘electricity’. Rabbi Brandwein in his commentary to this section quotes the Ari who said that the Gematria of garment, מלבוש is the same as חשמל, which is 378. Our skin is called מלבוש, garment, and on the skin of the face we have 378 light as the numerical value of חשמל, ‘electricity’.
