Daily Zohar – Tikunim – #357 – Depart from evil
Tikkun 21 – 98
The 365 precepts of “You shall not do….” keep the Satan away from us.
Those precepts help us disconnect from the impure system and the desire for the self alone.
“and make me savory food, such as I love, and bring it to me, that I may eat; that my soul may bless you before I die.”
When Isaac asked his son to prepare food that he loves, he wanted to connect to his positive side that comes from the heart. This is the side of the 248 precepts that are connections to YHVH.
When food gets into the blood system it manifests the energy in the heart. If the food has negativity in it, it could connect to the negative side that reside in the Liver and contaminate the spiritual being of the person.
The heart circulates the blood and with every heart beat it sends the spiritual energy that the food brought in. Isaac could channel his blessings.
When the son brought the food that he picked and prepared with the high energy of Rebecca, Isaac could channel his full blessings to Jacob.
The processes of the sacrifices in the Holy Temple have the exact same reason but in this case the blessings come from the upper levels.
Psalms 37:27 “ סוּר מֵרָע, וַעֲשֵׂה-טוֹב וּשְׁכֹן לְעוֹלָם.”
“Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore”
Depart from evil refers to the 365 precepts of “you shall not do…” and “Do good” is for 248 precepts of positive actions that connect us to YHVH.
