Zohar Shelach Lecha

#167
Those who keep the covenant should be seen before the Holy King because they come to be seen that they are part of the Holy Covenant.
Exodus 23:17
“שָׁלֹשׁ פְּעָמִים בַּשָּׁנָה יֵרָאֶה כָּל זְכוּרְךָ אֶל פְּנֵי הָאָדֹן יְהוָה.”
“Three times in the year, all your males shall appear before YHVH GOD.”
The head of the upper Yeshiva brings the attention to the word ‘זְכוּרְךָ’ that can be read as ‘memory,’ but the Nikkud of the word implies ‘males’ because they are the ones that protect the Holy Covenant, and don’t sin with it. They are considered the sons of the Holy King that always remember them and get praised through them.
There is no praise before the supernal King but those who keep the covenant.

#168
Therefore, they need to be seen before him three times a year. Three times for the three patriarchs that accepted the covenant before the precepts of the Torah. Abraham on the Right and Isaac on the Left accepted the covenant. Jacob was the perfect one because he was in the middle line that included both Abraham and Isaac. For that, he was called ‘perfect.’ (Genesis 25:27) “וְיַעֲקֹב אִישׁ תָּם יֹשֵׁב אֹהָלִים” “Jacob was a complete (flawless) man, dwelling in tents.”

Lesson;
The covenant is the ‘deal’ that Hashem made with Abraham to connect to Yessod that is the gate to the upper Lights. Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob connected to Yessod and became chariots of the three lines of the Tree of Life to the world. Yessod brings life and sustenance to the whole world. The children of Israel (who is Jacob, Tiferet, middle line) can connect to Yessod because of the merits of their fathers.
Because we are responsible for connecting to Yessod and draw the light to the world with purity, we must keep the purity of the connection to Yessod on the physical, corporeal level. Men are the channels, and their work is to produce bread by the sweat of their faces (Genesis 3:19). The aspect of Yessod in the body of males is the penis, and through it, the Light from above manifests the force of Life in the world below, creating a continuous flow of light/life to the world. This channel should be pure so the light that comes through it won’t get corrupted.
The three holidays that we need to be seen in the Holy Temple, where the Holy King keeps presence, are Sukkot (Right), Pesach (Left), Shavuot (Center). We studied before that Sukkot and Pesach celebrated 7 days each, but Shavuot is the middle and includes both, only one day because the middle brings unity.

Because Yessod is connected to the Tree of Life, the evil side wants to disconnect us from it and connect us to the Tree of Death on the opposite side. We live during the final fight between good and evil. Wherever we see the evil clearly as a force (people, groups, politicians, leaders) that pushes us away from the faith in God. Pushing ‘pronouns’ and non-gender identity is directly from Sat-n that wants to disconnect us from Light and connect us to death to stop the flow of Light from above to below. Sat-n and his worshipers get their life energy by taking the life of others. That is why human trafficking and the disappearance of kids is very high in recent years.
I can continue to draw your attention to many different ‘battles’ between good and evil that are going on nowadays, but i want to focus on the purpose of this Zohar lesson. We need to focus our eyes on Yessod that connects to life, not to Yessod below death. The study of Torah/Zohar is, above all, a spiritual connection to Yessod. We must increase our connection to the study to protect ourselves and the world around us because light pushes away a lot of darkness.
