The rivers are drawn by Yessod, which lowers them to the Sea, Malchut.
Ecclesiastes 1:7
“All the rivers run into the sea, Yet the sea is not full; To the place from which the rivers come, There they return again.”
The rivers that bring Light from Binah keep returning to Yessod because the flow of light from Binah is endless. “Yet the sea is not full” means that Malchut needs a continuous flow of light. Yessod, in this case, is called “Tzadik” because Tzadik connects Malchut to Yessod of Zeir Anpin to nourish Malchut.

Psalm 104:26
“There the ships sail about; There is that Leviathan Which You have made to play there.”
Rabbi Yehuda says that the ships sail in the sea until they reach and connect to the level of Yessod.
The ‘Leviathan‘ is the Yessod of Zeir Anpin that serves Hashem in the ‘Sea’ of Malchut.
