Genesis 33:4
“וַיָּרָץ עֵשָׂו לִקְרָאתוֹ וַיְחַבְּקֵהוּ וַיִּפֹּל עַל צַוָּארָו וַיִּשָּׁקֵהוּ וַיִּבְכּוּ.”
“But Esau ran to meet him, and embraced him, and fell on his neck and kissed him, and they wept.”

Isaiah 57:20
“וְהָרְשָׁעִים כַּיָּם נִגְרָשׁ כִּי הַשְׁקֵט לֹא יוּכָל וַיִּגְרְשׁוּ מֵימָיו רֶפֶשׁ וָטִיט.”
“But the wicked are like the troubled sea When it cannot rest, Whose waters cast up mire and dirt.”
Rabbi Yitzchak said the “wicked” in this verse refers to Esau, that everything he did was in sin and wickedness.
When Esau came to Jacob, his deeds were not perfect. “And he fell on his neck,” that is, one neck because the letter י Y that makes the word plural is missing. “יְרוּשָׁלַיִם” “Jerusalem,” which is the neck of the whole world, as the verse says “neck” in singular, not “necks” because the Temple was destroyed twice, once by the Babylonians, and once by the seed of Esau. Esau fell upon Jerusalem and destroyed it only once. That is why it is written, “and he fell on his neck צַוָּארָו” without the letter י Y.

The word “וַיִּשָּׁקֵהוּ” and “and he kissed him” has a dot above each of the letters, which suggests that Esau did not kiss Jacob willingly.
Proverbs 27:6
“נֶאֱמָנִים פִּצְעֵי אוֹהֵב וְנַעְתָּרוֹת נְשִׁיקוֹת שׂוֹנֵא.”
“Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”
When Balaam blessed Israel, he did not bless them from the will of his heart. Also, the kisses of Esau were rejected because he hated Jacob.

“Arise, O YHVH; Save me, O my God! For You have struck all my enemies on the cheekbone; You have broken the teeth of the ungodly.”
Rabbi Yossi said that Esau’s teeth grew when he came to bite Jacob. He cried when he couldn’t do it.
