Daily Zohar # 4119 – Vayishlach – Why Esau couldn’t release his anger on Jacob
Daily Zohar 4119

#125
Esau and Jacob cried for different reasons, Easu cried because he couldn’t kill Jacob while his father was alive. He planned to wait until after Isaac, their father, died to take revenge on Jacob.
Jacob cried because he didn’t think he would be saved from Esau.
#126
Rabbi Aba said that Easu’s anger weakened when he saw Jacob. It is because Esau’s minister agreed with Jacob. Esau’s minister is the angel who fought with Jacob all night and lost, giving Jacob blessings. Because of that, Easu could not use his anger against Jacob.
There is no control below until it is given from above. Everything depends on each other. Everything that is done in this world depends on what is done above.
