Daily Zohar # 4140 – Vayechi – Attention climbers and lookers
Daily Zohar 4140

#141
If a person is not found righteous, woe to his soul, that needs to bathe in a burning fire to get cleansed and go back into the king’s body, that is the Holy One, Blessed be He. If he does not correct himself, he goes like a stone into the slingshot (כף הקלע), as it is written, “וְאֵת נֶפֶשׁ אֹיְבֶיךָ יְקַלְּעֶנָּה בְּתוֹךְ כַּף הַקָּלַע” “ and the soul of your enemies will be caught in the slingshot” (1 Samuel 25:29).
The souls that have merits earn rewards as it is written;
Isaiah 64:33
“For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
Lesson;
“The one who waits for Him” are those who understand that life in this world is temporary, and during this lifetime, we should seek righteousness at the level each one can reach and wait for the Holy One, Blessed be He, to receive the rewards in the Final Redemption. These rewards are on a level beyond our grasp, as it is written, “ Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen.” Only Hashem knows because if it were known to all, then there would be no free choice.
We are told to ‘climb’ a steep and high mountain to get the rewards waiting at the top. Most people would abandon the ‘mission’ because it is difficult, and the type of rewards are not known. But if one knew that at the top awaits immortality, perfect health, and pleasures that are far above and beyond what can be experienced in this world, he would crawl day and night to reach the peak.

Thirty days before a person dies, his death is announced in the world, and even the birds in the sky announce the same.
If the person is a Tzadik, it is also announced among the Tzadikim in the Garden of Eden.
Lesson;
The process after death is complex and not known to most people. Some go through an easy process, and some go through the most difficult and most painful process, which is the “Hollow of a sling.” This process is forced on those who did evil without repenting. During this process, the soul is cast away through different worlds like a stone sling out from the hollow of a sling. That soul cannot rest in the constant movement, and the pain it suffers is extreme.
Studying the Zohar is a gift and opportunity given to us to cleanse our souls to have an easy path of incarnation. If we earn enough merits, we won’t have to reincarnate and suffer the process until the Resurrection.
There are very few places in the Torah and Bible that give us clues to the process after Life.
1 Samuel 25:29
“Should anyone rise up to pursue you and to seek your life, then the life of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of the living with YHVH your God; but the lives of your enemies He will sling out as from the hollow of a sling.”
The verse above tells about souls that have merits to be in the ‘bundle of livings’ and get Resurrected and the group on the opposite side of those who will be placed in the ‘hollow of a sling‘ and thrown like a stone in every direction with great suffering.
