Daily Zohar 4524

Zohar Vayikra

#191
It is written,
Job 25:2
“Dominion and fear belong to Him; He makes peace in His high places.”
‘He makes peace in His high places.’ The friends explained this verse. But ‘Dominion’ is Abraham, about whom it is written, “נְשִׂיא אֱלֹהִים אַתָּה בְּתוֹכֵנוּ” ‘A prince of God art thou among us.’ (Genesis 23:6) As it is written, “וַאֲבָרֶכְךָ וַאֲגַדְּלָה שְׁמֶךָ ” ‘And I will bless you and make your name great.’ (Genesis 12:2) And ‘the fear’ is Isaac, about whom it is said, ‘And the fear of Isaac was unto me.’ (Genesis 31:42)
‘He makes peace in His high places,’ this is Jacob, as it is written, “תִּתֵּן אֱמֶת לְיַעֲקֹב” ‘Give truth to Jacob,’ (Micha 7:20) and it is written, “וְהָאֱמֶת וְהַשָּׁלוֹם אֱהָבוּ” ‘Love truth and peace.’ (Zecharia 8:19) For truth and peace, which are Tiferet and Yessod, are tied together, and therefore Jacob represents the perfection of all. This means that Abraham and Isaac represent the two lines of Right and Left, and Jacob is the secret of the central line that unites the Right and Left and makes peace between them.
#192
Peace offerings signify completeness and peace for all. Those who offer peace offerings increase peace in the world, representing the central line, like Jacob. Jacob, as we said, makes peace because he holds both sides and unites the right and left lines, which represent Abraham and Isaac.
Peace offerings are connected to the positive commandments, which represent the right line, and in the negative commandments, which represent the left line, that is, on this side and that side, like Jacob, being also a central line, and therefore, they are called peace offerings. And the secret of the matter is written, “וְיַעֲקֹב אִישׁ תָּם” ‘And Jacob was a peaceful (complete) man,’ (Genesis 25:27) which means a man of completeness. Perfection is in the central line, complete above in Zeir Anpin and below in Malchut.
